Under the direction of the teachers of the NUPh, associate professor of the department of industrial pharmacy Alexander Mansky and assistant of the pharmaceutical marketing and management department Babicheva Anna and students of the 4th year of the pharmaceutical faculty Fs15 (5.0d) -15 made a trip to the city of Kyiv for the pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa ” that is the leader of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
The leading experts of “Darnitsya” have conducted a very interesting 2-hour tour. At first, the students were told about the history of the company’s formation and development, and they made an excursion through the company’s premises, the total area of which is about 74 thousand square meters, including 30 thousand square meters falls on production facilities. The number of staff is almost 1000 people. At present, Darnitsa specializes in the development and production of modern, effective and safe medicines, in the form of tablets, capsules, injection solutions in ampoules, sterile powders for the preparation of solutions for injections, ointments, gels, creams that are sold on the Ukrainian and foreign markets. At the factory there is a department of pharmaceutical development.
During the excursion, students were shown the work of the shop of infusion solutions and ampule shop, which were equipped in accordance with modern GMP requirements, and also described the technology of receiving purified water and water for injection. Acquainted with the management structure of PJSC “Darnitsa”.
Special attention of both students and teachers attracted a modern warehouse complex with a total area of14 thousand square meters, which is located on the territory of “Darnitsa”. The main element of this unique complex is the automated warehouse for 10 thousand pallet-places – the first on the pharmaceutical production in Ukraine and in the CIS. The warehouse is completely robotic, modern computer systems control the processes of loading, distribution, storage and delivery of finished products and raw materials. The warehouse complex is connected by air galleries with production shops, which provides support for the temperature regime during the movement of raw materials and finished products.
