The delegation of NUPh consisting of associate professors of Department Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management Timanyuk I.V. and Bondarieva I.V. participated in the International Conference «70th Anniversary of the UN – Current and Future Challenges», which took place on the basis of the Comenius University (Bratislava, Slovak Republic).
At the opening of the conference the report of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was presented. Also during the conference, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, was awarded an honorary doctorate «doctor honoris causa».

In order to promote international cooperation between NUPh and Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovak Republic), talks were held on cooperation and provides information about NUPh.

The staff of NUPh consisting of associate professor of Department Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management Timanyuk I.V., associate professor of Department Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management Bondarieva I.V., associate professor of Department Social Pharmacy Volkova A.V. and assistant teacher of Department Social Pharmacy Cherkashina A.V. passed the international advanced training at the Academic Society of Michal Baludyansky in the field of perspective tendencies in scientific research and modern methods of teaching (72 hours) that took place in the city Bratislava (Slovak Republic).

During their training the museum of pharmacy «Red Crayfish Pharmacy» was visited in Bratislava, where there are more than 8,500 museum exhibits on the history of development and establishment of pharmacy (http://mmb.pano3d.eu/muzeum_farmacie.html).

The conference included presentations of representatives of the Slovak Republic and Ukraine, of NUPh delegates made presentations in the section “Future directions of research in medicine and pharmacy”.Following the conference, materials of conference were published and certificates of the participants were received.

Professor of Department of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management NUPh Yevtushenko Elena took part in the First International Conference «Pharmacy today and tomorrow – Theory and Practice» at the Medical University of Lublin (Poland) with poster presentation «Approaches to formation of the list of medicines which are purchased with state funds». Following the conference, a certificate of participation was received and abstracts were published.
