On April 18, 2023, the scientific and practical interdepartmental seminar “IMPROVEMENT OF MANAGEMENT METHODS IN HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS IN MODERN CONDITIONS” was held at the National University of Pharmacy.
The organizers of the event were the departments of pharmaceutical management and marketing and social pharmacy.
Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Dr. Pharm., were invited to the seminar. n., professor Inna VLADIMYROVA, teachers of the departments of pharmaceutical management and marketing, social pharmacy, management and quality assurance in pharmacy and organization and economy of pharmacy.
In the course of the meeting, the following issues were discussed: assessment of the factors of formation of intra-firm loyalty of the pharmaceutical organization; evaluation of the impact of the brand of the pharmacy network and marketing tools on the competitiveness of pharmacies; analysis of loyalty programs in pharmacy chains of Ukraine; application of software processes for managing the assortment of pharmaceuticals and medical devices for the formation and updating of the assortment in pharmacies; analysis of stress management methods in pharmaceutical enterprises.
The scientific and practical interdepartmental seminar was started by the head of the department, prof. Volodymyr MALYI. In his introductory speech, he congratulated all the participants, thanked the organizers and emphasized the importance of conducting such scientific events. Then the introductory speech was continued by the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, prof. Inna VLADIMYROVA and the head of the Department of Social Pharmacy, Assoc. prof. Alina VOLKOVA.
Assoc. Assoc. Iryna SAFRONOVA of the FMM department, regarding the evaluation of the factors of formation of intra-company loyalty of the pharmaceutical organization. The report caused a lively discussion – several questions were asked to the speaker and detailed answers were received.
The next report of the assistant of the Department of Social Pharmacy by Oleksandra SEVRYUKOVA was devoted to the problems of automation of processes in the management of modern pharmacies. The report interested the participants of the seminar with its practical focus on the application of software processes of assortment management in pharmacies. The speaker was asked two interesting questions and received full answers.
In the next report Assoc. of the PhMM department of Anna BABICHEVA, attention was paid to the assessment of the influence of the brand of the pharmacy network on the competitiveness of pharmacies (on the example of ANC). The report greatly interested the listeners with vivid examples and practical orientation. Questions were asked to the speaker and detailed answers were received.
Assistant made an interesting report Iryna SURIKOVA of the Department of Social Pharmacy regarding the assessment of marketing tools for managing the pharmacy’s competitiveness. It was proposed to include the materials of this report in the scientific and pedagogical process of the Department of Social Pharmacy.
In the next report, assistant of the PhMM department of Olena SHUVANOVA, attention was paid to the analysis of loyalty programs implemented in pharmacy chains of Ukraine. Various loyalty programs used by pharmacy chains to increase the level of staff motivation, increase demand and sales of medicinal products were analyzed. The report interested the listeners with its analytical approach and practical orientation. Questions were asked to the speaker and detailed answers were received.
In the final report Assoc.prof. Iryna BONDARIEVA aid attention to the analysis of methods of stress management in pharmaceutical enterprises. The speaker analyzed the types of stress, the places and frequency of stressful situations and the analysis of measures that contribute to stress reduction, increase work capacity and quality of life of pharmaceutical workers. The topic of the report and the obtained results raised many questions, which led to discussions and lively discussions among the seminar participants.
At the end of the scientific-practical seminar, in the discussion and debate, the seminar participants noted that there are still unresolved questions and debatable issues regarding the social aspects of terminology, as well as the issue of improving management methods in health care institutions in health care in the preparation of higher education students modern conditions. There is an urgent need to train specialists for pharmacy who have leadership skills, are able to think creatively, quickly navigate the modern saturated information space, make non-standard decisions, learn and develop throughout life.
Head of the PhMM department, prof. Volodymyr MALYI summarized the results and emphasized that the materials of the conducted research have already been partially implemented in the work of pharmaceutical organizations, and fragments of reports should be included in the lecture materials and used in the educational and pedagogical process of both departments-organizers of the seminar. Volodymyr MALYI thanked all the participants and also expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. The seminar participants warmly thanked each other.
