On October 19, 2023, Anna Babicheva, associate professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing, as part of the volunteer and educational activities of the BF “For Life” held a thematic conversation with young people with the support of the Youth Hub of the KZ “Kharkiv Regional Library for Children and Youth” of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

During the conversation on the topic “Physiological foundations of family planning”, important issues related to the functioning of the female and male reproductive system, fertilization mechanisms were discussed. Somehow it is not customary to talk about it in society, but knowledge of one’s own physiology is the basis of an effective and safe method of family planning in married life. Because the joint fertility of the couple is only 6-7 days.
It is pleasant that the participants of the meeting actively participated in the discussion of the topic of the conversation, especially the boys answered the questions. They also talked about the impact of bad habits on the health of teenagers and the terrible consequences of taking alcohol, tobacco and drugs, which affect the reproductive system and the health of newborns.
We hope that the information received by the teenagers will be useful in the future adult life.
