REPORT OF THE PhMM DEPARTMENT ON EDUCATIONAL WORK
for 2022-2023
The main goal of educational work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing in 2022-2023 is became the improvement of the quality of the organization of ideological and educational work, education of highly educated specialists, bearers of the cultural heritage of the Ukrainian intelligentsia, who possess an active civic position and a high legal culture. In order to achieve the set goal, the following tasks were set before the teaching staff: formation of students’ legal, political culture, and active citizenship; formation of students’ scientific knowledge, development of a creative approach to professional activity, enrichment of the spiritual, intellectual and creative potential of student youth, formation of internal culture, involvement in the values of national and world cultures; creation of conditions for activation of student self-government bodies in public life of the university, development of student initiatives; creation and development of department and university traditions, formation of corporate culture of students and teachers of the department. During the year, the teachers of the department conducted various activities related to educational work and monitored the success of students of higher education.
During the academic year, considerable attention was paid to civic and patriotic education. Lecturers of the department held talks on the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Holodomor, the day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the Day of Vyshyvanka, the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation. In order to prevent the commission of offenses among students of higher education, conversations were held about the activity of the youth movement “Redan”, whose members fight in large groups in crowded places.
Much attention was paid to moral and aesthetic education. Greetings and a discussion on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, Epiphany, and Easter were prepared for higher education students. The teachers held educational talks on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian poet Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko. Together with the winners, they recalled interesting facts from the life of Kobzar, and also recited poems by heart. Students of higher education together with teachers attended the meeting of the Literary Club of the NUPh. Attention was also paid to issues related to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among students of higher education. A lecture on a healthy lifestyle dedicated to the World Health Day was held, where the importance of the health of each person and humanity as a whole was highlighted. A conversation dedicated to the anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was held, during which students of higher education expressed their opinions about why it is important for Ukraine, for the world, for the liquidators and for the victims of the Chernobyl disaster to remember this sad date in our history.
In order to help organize your working day, properly organize your time and increase its efficiency, the lecture “The path to success: how to allocate your time” was given to students of higher education.
In addition to the work of professors and teaching staff, the work of curators of academic groups can be highlighted. Over the course of the year, the curators constantly carried out individual educational work with the students of higher education – curatorial hours were held, during which important topics were discussed and the success in studies and attendance of the students were monitored, and information was provided about the events that take place at the NUPh.
During the year, teachers of the department took an active part in volunteer projects: they sorted medicines and packaged food for those who needed help. During the reporting period, teachers held conversations with students of higher education, during which they discussed the importance and usefulness of volunteering and encouraged students to become involved in volunteering and charity movements.
Report on career guidance work of the Department of Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing for 2022-2023.
During 2022-2023 The main directions of career orientation work of the PhMM department were:
• Conducting informational and campaigning work in an online format among students of grades 7-11 of elementary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and college applicants assigned to the department, regarding admission conditions and advantages of studying at the NUPh under various educational programs, prospects for employment after graduating from the University of Science and Technology, regarding the work of the career orientation camp “PHARM CAMP of the NUPh”. Informational materials were placed in the messengers of teachers and the administration of ZSO, in parent chat rooms, and sent to e-mail addresses.
• Conducting informational and campaigning work in an online and offline format among students of grades 7-11 of elementary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and college applicants located in Kharkiv and other regions of Ukraine by agreement of the faculty of the department (Poltava region – Assoc. Rogulya O .Yu., Khmelnytskyi region – Prof. Maly V.V.).
• Cooperation with the department of education of Bezlyudivska settlement united territorial community (assistant professor G. S. Babicheva). Remote provision of career guidance materials (Bezlyudivskyi Lyceum, Bezlyudivskyi Law Lyceum named after I. Ya. Pidkopai, Vasyshchevsk Lyceum, Vasyshchevsk Interscholastic Resource Center, Lyzogubivskyi Lyceum, Khoroshevskyi Lyceum).
• Cooperation with the ZSO of the Poltava region (assistant professor Rogulya O.Yu.). Remote provision of career guidance materials, information about events and visits to institutions (KZ “Poltavska ZOSH I-III degrees No. 26, Lyceum No. 31, Lyceum No. 33, KZ “Poltavska ZOSH I-III degrees No. 34, KZ “Poltavska ZOSH I-III degrees No. 23 Kirikivskyi ZSO I – III degrees, Poltava ZOSH I-III degrees No. 4).
• Conducting career orientation events (taking into account the conditions of study) for students of medical colleges:
• Kyiv Medical College named after P.I. Gavrosya (assistant professor G. S. Babicheva, online meeting with college applicants on April 24, 2023, distribution of informational materials during the year).
• Kyiv Professional Medical College No. 3 (assistant professor G. S. Babicheva, distribution of informational materials during the year)
• Khmelnytskyi Basic Medical Vocational College (Prof. Malyi V.V., offline meeting with graduates of the graduation course on April 25, 2023)
• Shepetiv Medical College (Prof. Malyi V.V., offline meeting with graduates of the graduation course on 05/15/2023)
• Participation in the winter career orientation camp “PHARM CAMP NUPh – 2022-2023” (December 27-30, 2022 and January 3-5, 2023). From December 27 to 30, 2022, Prof. Iryna Pestun held a lecture-quiz “Know management and marketing – be one step ahead”; associate professor Iryna Bondareva gave a lecture-show “Let’s learn to communicate effectively”; from January 3 to 5, associate professor Hanna Babicheva held a lecture-quiz “Know management and marketing – be one step ahead”; associate professor Svitlana Viktorivna gave a show-lecture “Let’s learn to communicate effectively”. A total of 13 lectures out of 14 planned were delivered during the camp.
• Participation in the work of the spring career orientation camp “PHARM CAMP NFaU – 2023 “Create the future with NFaU!” (March 27-31, 2023). During the week, as part of the educational marathon, interesting interactive lectures were held for students of grades 7-11 from the cities of Kharkiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro, etc. regions of Ukraine. Lecture-quiz “Know management and marketing – be one step ahead!” presented by Assoc. Babicheva H.S., Assoc. Bondareva I.V., assistant Cheghrynets A.A. The lecture-show “Let’s learn to communicate effectively” was conducted by Assoc. Malinina N.G., assistant. Shuvanova O.M., Assoc. Zhadko S.V., Professor Tkachova O.V. held a training lecture “The way to success – how to allocate your time”. A total of 14 lectures out of 15 planned were delivered during the camp.
• Cooperation of the teachers of the PhMM department with other departments of the National Academy of Sciences regarding the organization and conduct of lectures and laboratory classes for students of grades 7-11 of secondary education, taking into account the conditions of study. Lectures from the Department of Biotechnology, Normal and Pathological Physiology, Microbiology, Virology and Immunology were organized and held for schoolchildren in online format. During the year, the teachers of the PhMM department held lectures in online format for students of grades 7-11 of secondary school in Kharkiv and Dnipro.
• Conducting career orientation work among students of higher education in the 5th year of the Faculty of Pharmacy (full-time and part-time) in relation to obtaining a second higher education under the educational programs of the NUPh.
• Posting of information about NPhA on the website of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Marketing Association” and on the website of the PhMM department, posting information about the work of the Pharm Camp 2022-2023 career orientation camp in the Viber chat of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Marketing Association”.
• Informing graduates of the previous years of the NUPh and employees of pharmaceutical companies about continuing their studies at the NUPh in master’s programs or obtaining a second higher education.
• Periodic posting of announcements and information about career guidance events of the NUPh of Ukraine on the website of the department
