One of the most important issues that students of education consider during the study of the selective educational component “Fundamentals of consumer behavior in pharmacy” is the peculiarities of the pharmacist’s interaction with the pharmacy visitor. Who can tell about this better than an employee of a pharmacy chain? That is why, on April 12 and 15, representatives of “Apteka 9-1-1” – corporate communications manager Yuliya Manarchenko and head of the training, development and evaluation department Andriy Zvolsky visited the second-year students for seminar classes.

The range of issues discussed during the meeting covered the details of the creation and use of the customer base, the implementation of service standards and monitoring of their compliance, work with dissatisfied customers and action algorithms in conflict situations, and much more. But the biggest impression on the participants of the meeting was made by the information about how the pharmacy chain uses the possibilities of artificial intelligence in business processes, in particular in communications with clients. It turned out that artificial intelligence can help improve the quality of customer service and compliance with established standards by analyzing the dialogues of each pharmacist with visitors in real time. It helps to develop customized recommendations and even provide hints if needed.

Students learned that the pharmacy network “Pharmacy 9-1-1” is one of the most powerful in Ukraine with 27 years of experience, it includes 1,700 pharmacies located in 490 settlements. More than 11,000 employees work in the network, and today’s students may eventually join their ranks.

Meetings of education seekers with employers is an extremely important element in the training of specialists in the pharmaceutical industry. They make it possible to maintain two-way communication between the educational institution and the enterprises for which personnel are being trained.
