On March 21, 2024, the 11th International Scientific and Practical Distance Conference "MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING AS PART OF MODERN ECONOMY, SCIENCE, EDUCATION, PRACTICE" was held

On March 21, 2024, the Department of Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing of the National University of Pharmacy held the 11th International Scientific and Practical Distance Conference “MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING AS A PART OF MODERN ECONOMY, SCIENCE, EDUCATION, PRACTICE”.
Among the participants of the conference were representatives of higher education institutions from different countries of the world: Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan), Tbilisi State Medical University (Tbilisi, Georgia), Eurasia International University (Yerevan, Armenia), Sofia Medical University ( Sofia, Bulgaria), University of Missouri, (Columbia, USA), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan), Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan).
The scientific-practical conference was also attended by domestic scientists and practitioners from institutions of higher education in the medical and pharmaceutical fields: the National  University of Pharmacy (Kharkiv), the Vinnytsia National Medical University named after M. I. Pirogov, the National Medical University named after O. O. Bogomolets (Kyiv), National University of Health Care of Ukraine named after P. L. Shupyk (Kyiv), Lviv National Medical University named after Danyla Halytskyi, Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Ternopil National Medical University named after I. Ya. Gorbachevsky, Bukovyna State Medical University, Rivne Medical Academy, Dnipropetrovsk State Medical University. Representatives of 32 institutions of higher education of Ukraine also took part in the conference: Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O.M. Beketov, Kherson National University, Zaporizhia National University, University of Customs and Finance (Dnipro), Vinnytsia Trade and Economic Institute of the State Trade and Economic University, Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin, Odesa National Economic University, Mykolaiv National Agrarian University and others.
During the conference, scientists shared the results of research conducted in a wide range of areas. Achievements, problems and prospects of using management and marketing in the modern economy were discussed at the conference; problems of cooperation with employers in the pharmacist training system; personalized approaches to providing pharmaceutical care; forms and methods of teaching organizational, economic and management disciplines based on management theory and marketing; practical aspects of production management, quality control; marketing research of markets; problems of sale and consumption of medicinal products, improving the quality of pharmaceutical care; results of pharmacoeconomic studies of medicinal products.

After the plenary session, a round table “Practical aspects of the application of management and marketing in pharmacy” was held, in which speakers and participants shared their experience of implementing management and marketing methods in practical pharmacy.
The scientific and practical conference was held in an interactive format: participants took part in the discussion, answered questions, expressed their understanding of the most pressing issues and their answers. At the end of the conference, the participants expressed a general positive impression of the conference, as well as a proposal about the further need for exchange of experience among scientists and educators of Ukraine and foreign countries, representatives of practical pharmacy, health care, economic spheres engaged in management and marketing.
