Sofronova Irіna Vadіmovna – Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor

 

She graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy on the specialty 0405 “Pharmacy”. She works at the Kharkov Pharmaceutical Institute (UkrPhA, NUPh, NPhA) at the Department of Management and Marketing in Pharmacy (now Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management): Senior Laboratory Assistant (1995-2002), Applicant (1996-2001), Assistant (since 2002), Associate Professor (from 2005 to the present).

Educational-methodical work. She is developer of educational and methodological complexes, reads a course of lectures and conducts practical and seminar classes in the disciplines “Pharmaceutical marketing and management”, “Ethics and deontology in pharmacy” (including in English), “Marketing distribution policy”, “Marketing distribution policy for medicinal products and medical products”. She is the co-author of 18 teaching aids. She participates in the creation of curricula, situational and test assignments. She provides guidance for master’s and master’s theses. She has prepared a distance course “Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management”.

Scientific and Research work: In 2003, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Optimization of providing the population of Ukraine with immunobiological medicines for active immunization”. Areas of scientific interest include research of marketing distribution policy of pharmaceutical enterprises, implementation of merchandising in pharmacies, research of management methods in pharmaceutical organizations, conflict management at pharmaceutical companies, management effectiveness. Author and co-author of more than 80 published scientific works. She is Head of the Student Scientific Society of the department.
